You know, his truck form slam attack (8d6 + 56) is a lot more powerful than his 12d12 overrun attack. The former has an average damage of 78, the latter has an average damage of...78.

Ok, nevermind.

How did you determine the number of feats to give him, Kain? Just whatever you thought he should have? Also, where's the laser ax? :D

I may throw up a Megatron, if I get some other stuff out of the way.

From the looks of it, Optimus has bonus feats as a fighter.

Megatron
Image
Huge Construct (Shapechanger)
Wounds:
465 WP (25d10+215)
Initiative: +3
Speed: 50 ft., fly 200 ft. (Perfect)
Armor Class: 31 (+3 Dex, +20 natural, -2 size), touch 11, flat footed 28
Base Attack/Grapple: +25/+56
Attack: Slam +43 melee (4d8+28) or fusion cannon +30 ranged touch (20d6)
Full Attack: 2 slams +43 melee or laser flail (4d8+28) +43/+38/+33/+28 (4d8+28)
Space/Reach: 15 ft. /15 ft.
Special Attacks: Fusion blast, laser flail, powerful blows, powerful charge
Special Qualities: Alternate form, damage reduction 30/adamantine, immune to radiation, resistance to energy (cold, electricity, fire) 20
Saves: Fort +21, Ref +17, Will +24
Abilities: Str 48, Dex 16, Con -, Int 22, Wis 18, Cha 21
Skills: Bluff +40, Computer Use +28, Craft (electronic) +39, Craft (mechanical) +27, Intimidate +40, Knowledge (tactics) +28, Knowledge (technology) +34, Listen +18, Repair +20, Spot +24, Tumble +10
Feats: Awesome Blow, Cleave, Dead Aim, Deceitful, Far Shot, Flyby Attack, Frightful Presence, Improved Bull Rush, Improved Grapple, Improved Natural Attack (slam), Point-blank Shot, Power Attack, Weapon Focus (slam)
Epic Feats: Distant Shot, Epic Toughness
Climate/Terrain: Earth
Organization: Solitary (unique) or with Decepticons
Challenge Rating: 21
Treasure: Standard
Alignment: Lawful Evil

Alternate Form: As a standard action, Megatron can transform into a Walther P38 pistol. This grants him a +20 bonus on Disguise checks to appear as an ordinary gun of that sort.

He can adjust the mass of his gun mode, shifting to fit a wielder of any size category from Tiny to Huge. While in pistol form, Megatron can take only purely mental actions; however, any creature of the appropriate size can, with his permission, use him as a weapon to fire either normal bullets, or make ranged touch attacks that deal 10d6 damage. Megatron can choose to add his Intelligence modifier (+6) to his wielder's first attack each round.

Fusion Blast: Megatron can use his fusion cannon as either a ranged touch attack as a standard action, or a 1400 ft. line as a full round action. If he uses the line effect, it deals 20d6 damage to all creatures and objects in the area, with a DC 25 Reflex save for half. The save DC is Dexterity-based.

Laser Flail: As a move action, Megatron may retract one of his hands and replace it with a flail-like weapon of pure energon. This flail counts as a manufactured weapon that deals force damage equal to his slam damage. He gains a +4 bonus on trip or disarm checks made using the flail. After using the flail for longer than one round, Megatron must consume twice the normal amount of energon for the next day.

Powerful Blows: Megatron's slam attacks add one and a half times his Strength modifier to damage. They are treated as two handed weapons for the purposes of Power Attack.

Skills: Megatron has a +5 bonus on Bluff, Intimidate and Computer Use checks, and a -10 penalty on Move Silently checks and Knowledge (tactics) checks to know when it is appropriate to retreat.

Optimus should have 515 WP (25d10+265; +40 Huge Construct bonus, +50 AW Epic Toughness, +175 Cha [+7 x 25]).

The Matrix makes him one size category larger for the purpose of hp.

Well, Gargantuan Constructs get +60 bonus HP... so then he's got 10 too few instead of 10 too many. :P

Damn it, WarDragon, you assured me that answer would take care of the issue!

I'm not quite sure how I did his hp wrong. Either a higher score that got dropped down later, or an epic toughness that got taken out.

I've got a question for both builds. What have they done to justify 23 and 27 Dex? Super-Drizzt they aren't.

I'll concur with that one, I wouldn't justify either with a score over 18. They're fast and agile but aren't anymore more then a human is capable of.

14-16ish might be more accurate.

I've dropped Optimus down to 14 (and fixed his hp). If Megatron really is that much more dextrous than Prime, he can have 16-17 to reflect that.

I'm really not sure why I gave a massive 30 ft. tall robot 20+ Dex.

Probably the same reason pit fiends have 27 Dex. :P

Except Pit Fiends are nowhere near 30 ft. tall.

Right. You lose 2 Dex for going up a size category. Large Pit Fiends = 27 Dex, Huge Robots = 25 Dex.

Pit Fiend Dex is as dumb as the 4th edition flavor changes.

I'll drop it. I gave Megatron higher Dex because he seems to rely on his long-range artillery more than Optimus, and I had to boost something to make up for the lower Wis and Cha.

Not really, Prime could just be superior to Megatron. He seems to be most of the time in the cartoon and comics.

No you didn't.

Although I'm torn...is Megatron as charismatic as Optimus? While Megatron's minions turned on him, that could just be due to the Evil alignment, rather than a lower Cha.

I'd say Megatron is even more charismatic than Optimus, which compensates for blinding incompetence he seems to so frequently display.

LOL...I could almost agree with that but except for Soundwave they aren't willing to die for him. Again though, could just be the evil alignment.
