Ensign, divert all power including both life support and backup life support to the main engines and ram that vessel.

What was that ensign? I couldn't hear you properly because I was too busy getting into this only escape pod on the ship.

Good luck ensign, it's been a pleasure serving with you this past... four days I think? Can't say I've ever had a comand last this long before.

... Bye!

The internet is so predictable at times.

I was just listening to You know my name from the Casino Royale intro, and listening to the lyrics I heard the key phrase "I will replace you" and since the entire song is about killing and being prepared to kill and risk death yourself, I typed in "You know my name Death Note" to see how many AMV's there were.

630.

Soooooo predictable.

I'm totally unsurprised and unphased. I'd be far, far more impressed if you could come up with something there isn't porn of on the internet. (I do know of one not-even-that-obscure thing myself, though I shall take the secret to my grave unless I absolutely need to lest I provoke someone into drawing it to destroy my one trumph-card source of proof against rule 34.)

There is a even a hell of a lot of porn of this nameless one scene character from the Batman Animated series:

Though you did not need to know that! I should seriously stop talking now before there's a mod crackdown, curse my blabbering maw and lack of posting self-control. CURSE IT I SAY!

'Kay, new plan: This stupid persona I've build up out of laziness and anonimity needs to die. If I haven't played D&D in nearly two years, I should not have such a large presence on a D&D site, particularly if 19/20ths of my posts ammount to what can only be described as relatively contained trolling via going through the motions of posting whatever vapid insipidness passes through my head as I surf the web more out of addiction than enjoyment.

I've been playing D&D for 4 years, and I'm really not much better.

Unless you count Kain's game, my last real D&D game was about four years ago.

Kain's game definitely counts.

Most recently, I've played a few times with this guy I know (who is the DM) and some players he picked up from the Internet. I'm hesistant to continue, however, as he is an even worse DM than I am, and his players are strictly roll players.

Nope.
That is indeed fun to do as well, but not the point.

Also, last session was last sunday, next meeting is tomorrow.

I only rarely play D&D. Lately most of my gaming consists of other systems (HERO, WoD, an upcoming WFRP). Although Pathfinder's release has rekindled my interest significantly.

Which is precisely the problem; the DM refuses to give us anything close to the amount of loot PCs of our level should have. I made a 5th level character, and was allowed to start with 1 level 1 magic item. WTF.

Heh. My first ever Dnd character, who I played from first to sixth level, managed to accumulate a grand 600 gp worth of wealth. Not just carried items, everthing he owned put together, yeah.

Not through lack of effort either!

My first character started out with a +1 dagger.
That dagger ended up in the heart of a mage who had a contingency to teleport his corpse if he died.

Barring that dagger, I earned about 400 GP during the whole thing.

Level 1-7, AD&D.

The DM blamed us for failing miserably against "Level appropriate threats".
My brother was kinda a dick =P

Strip mine the dungeons, remembering that anything so much as pre-carved stones making up a building are technically worth more than the surrounding ground. Map every resource you can gain out and haggle to sell it to the highest bidder, trap components, doors, exotic monster meat, exotic "monster"* meat, bone decorations and flutes**, even scrape the blood off cave walls and try to palm it off as a spell component***.

Eventually he should take the hint and make it so that you can get your money's worth from a dungeon without going to such lengths.
